Scoop is a Kickstarter protein shaker with interchangeable pods that release powder with a pop, letting athletes carry hydration and post-workout protein in one bottle. I co-directed art across three locations on a tight timeline and budget, pairing lifestyle and tabletop product shots to clarify size, mechanism, and natural ingredients. The idea “Pop it. Shake it. Drink it.” shaped a clean, urban look.

We delivered one hero film for the Kickstarter page. Across two shoot days we combined lifestyle and tabletop to land the mechanism in the first seconds. Tight macro, planned negative space for on-page headlines, and a restrained palette with real ingredient cues kept it clean and credible. Coverage was framed for easy crops and mobile, so it reads in thumbnails and scroll. The film anchored the campaign and set up straightforward cutdowns.

From this project I learned that early alignment with the stakeholders keeps decisions quick and the story disciplined. Working with a prototype pushed me to plan backups and lean on crisp macro and tabletop moments to explain the mechanism. The tight pace reinforced lighting and framing recipes that hold up across locations. Next, I would define a simple post toolkit for type, color, and motion to carry the narrative into cutdowns and social.
