Plastiks is a Barcelona-based sustainability startup that verifies plastic recovery and recycling and converts that data into digital certificates companies can use for credible, traceable impact claims. At an early stage the brand felt generic within a complex mix of climate, waste management, and blockchain, so the Brand, Strategy, and UI role focused on building a clearer narrative and structure in close collaboration with product, tech, marketing, sales, and the founders as the business moved from B2C to B2B and then B2B2C.

Plastiks underwent a comprehensive rebrand, introducing a new visual identity and tone of voice. A design system and component library were created with the product and tech teams, featuring dashboards that clearly display the partners' sustainable efforts. This approach helped growth, gain clients and secure deals for the platform.

Plastiks showed how brand and product can stay aligned when identity, design systems, and impact metrics are treated as one effort rather than separate ones. Working with a small creative team and detailed guidelines helped keep execution consistent while the business model evolved, this made it easier to delegate without losing coherence. It also underlined how pairing solid design foundations with clear priorities can give climate and impact projects more focus and visibility as they grow.
